Sunday Starter : Inspiration Board Makeover - The Before

So with the festive season almost just a memory, it's time to get down to achieving those new year resolutions goals. We all have them (well, most of us) but not many of us actually do anything about it. What I have found to work best in achieving my goals, is having a constant reminder of them - aka an inspiration board! 

Unfortunately, right now my inspiration board isn't looking very inspirational (See below).

Yes, this is mine. Sigh.

So over the next week my project will be to convert this drab, cluttered and uninspiring board into an organised, creative and colourful "my-ideal-life/goals-for-2013" inspiration board. To many new adventures...

Before I go any further, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 

I am pretty sure those last two words have been thrown around a billion or so times by now that for most it has just become a formality but believe me, I really do mean it. After all...

Anyway, I sure do feel excited. I am one of those who L.O.V.E  starting afresh, making new year resolutions (hopefully, I will be sticking to them) and feeling like a whole year's load of stress, stress and even more stress has just been flung out of my heavy head when the clock strikes 12.  

2012 has really been an incredible-though-very-stressful year for me. Oh, don't worry, I shall not drag on about it however one of the greatest things that did come of it was that I successfully completed my Civil Engineering degree. Sigh. No biggie (OMG, I used the word biggie?). Who the heck am I kidding? I was over the moon and back the moment my results were released. Anywhoo, I sound like a dumb teenager now however, today was another major milestone in life - the first official day of my working life. Time to act like a grown-up now.

My biggest promise to myself this year is to take the time to share more of my passion (art, design, fashion) with you,  be more adventurous (Sky-diving is a definite!) and do more to help with the "greater-good" of this world. A lot you may think, right? Well I am up for the challenge!   

New year. New adventures. I sure do look forward to it!
